Before You Volunteer
Everything you need to know before joining the team.
What do volunteers do?
Volunteer roles vary throughout the day and may include helping with setup, welcoming guests, checking in shoppers, assisting sellers, answering questions, or helping with cleanup. Assignments are made on event day based on where help is needed most.
Do I need experience?
Not at all. Whether it’s your first time volunteering or you’ve helped at previous events, we’ll provide the guidance you need and make sure you’re comfortable with your role. As a thank you for volunteering, we provide food and refreshments during your shift.
Do volunteers get to shop?
Yes! Volunteers receive exclusive shopping access before the event opens to ticket holders, giving them the first opportunity to browse thousands of unique finds.
Can I volunteer with a friend or family member?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to volunteer together. We’ll do our best to assign you to the same area whenever possible, although assignments may vary based on the needs of the event.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, as volunteers may spend time walking, standing, lifting, and assisting throughout the day.
