The impact of wedding resale becomes easier to understand when you consider how many items can be reused at a single event.
If 60 sellers each bring just 20 reusable items, that creates an opportunity for approximately 1,200 pieces of wedding décor to find new homes. If each seller brings 40 items, that number increases to 2,400 pieces.

According to The Knot’s 2026 Real Weddings Study, the average U.S. wedding costs approximately $34,200. For many couples, finding ways to reduce unnecessary spending is an important part of planning.
